I have always created stories and used to enact them with my cousin June playing about in the house and garden in the long summer holidays. Of course the holidays were all long, hot and summery in those days!
Then when role-playing games came along they were irresistible for me and my son, daughter and their friends. After they left home to carry out their careers, I was left with lots of fragmented notes.
These I left alone until I acquired a word processor, and then they began to take shape. I thought that the notes would be easy to reform into a coherent story for a novel, but anyone who has done this will agree, it is not a piece of cake.
Also this is where my embryo stories took off and assumed a new and fuller identity. Over the course of some 15 years they matured and hit the usual rejection barrier. It is only recently that Indie publishing came to my aid.
Enjoy.
